Construction of a passivation line
During 2021, a line for the chemical pre-treatment of the surface of aluminium parts by passivation was installed in the Industry division. The line consists of a pre-treatment tunnel which includes degreasing, rinsing and passivation sections. The tunnel is connected to a natural gas dryer and in a dedicated space, the technology for wastewater treatment and DEMI water preparation is installed. The transport of products through the line is provided by an overhead chain conveyor, which is 86 metres long. The line is designed for aluminium parts up to the maximum dimensions of 600 x 2000 x 2500 mm (w x h x l).

The newly installed technology will enable COLORprofi Industry to increase competitiveness, ensure higher process of stability and reduce the proportion of physically demanding grinding work of our employees.
